The photographs produced by Sadie & Co are protected by New Zealand Copyright Law (all rights reserved) and may not be copied or reproduced in any manner without Sadie & Co explicit written permission. This includes, but is not limited to, images from Sadie & Co social media sites, website and blog.

Any photographs produced by Sadie & Co cannot be sold for profit or used for promotion by any other persons, companies or organisations. Any persons found to be using or selling Sadie & Co images without explicit written permission will be held responsible to the full extent of the law.

EXHIBITION

All clients allow Sadie & Co permission to display any images resulting from all assignments as an example of Sadie & Co’s work and for entrance into photographic competitions, and release all claims to any profit that may arise from the use of images. Any request from the Client for the exhibition of specific images must be a written request and signed by both the Client and Sadie & Co. Full credit must be given to Sadie & Co for any published images.

Terms & Conditions

BY PAYING A 50% WEDDING COLLECTION DEPOSIT OR 100% CREATIVE SESSION FEE YOU (THE CLIENT) ARE CONFIRMING YOUR BOOKING WITH SADIE & CO BOUTIQUE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ACCEPTING THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

DEPOSIT

A 50% deposit is required to confirm wedding bookings and 100% of the creative session fee for portrait bookings. The payment covers any administration costs and secures the services of Boutique Photography on the requested date. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Reservations are made on a strictly first-come, first-served basis, and dates will only be secured upon payment of the deposit.

PAYMENT TERMS

Following payment of the 50% deposit, the balance of the fees is to be paid two weeks prior to the scheduled wedding date. Payment for additional images, service and products are to be made at the time of ordering. If full payment is not received by the due date the booking will be cancelled.
The Client agrees to timely payment. No photos will be given to the Client unless full payment has been made. If full payment has not been made, the Client will not be given photos in any format. The Client agrees to forfeit their deposit(s) in the event they do not pay in full. If full payment has not been made to Sadie & Co, the Client agrees that Sadie & Co can still use the photographs for promotional purposes according to the following sections of the Terms & Conditions: Model Release, Copyrights, and Exhibition.
All payments, including those made on your behalf by another party, are final and non-refundable.
Sadie & Co is a business based on artistic creation. All deposits, payments, retainers and purchases of products are non-refundable once payment has been made, unless otherwise agreed to by both parties.

CANCELLATION OF SERVICES

The client may cancel their booking up to 30 days before the date of the event or session by sending written notice to Sadie & Co. Sadie & Co will reimburse any monies paid, less the deposit which remains non-refundable. Cancellation less than 30 days before the event date will require full payment.
The client must make any request for a date change in writing, at least 30 days in advance of the original event date. Change is subject to availability. If there is no availability for the alternate date, the deposit shall be forfeited and the booking cancelled. Any cancellation will forfeit any deposit payment made.

PRE SESSION CONSULTATIONS

Clients agree to a pre-session consultation (in person, by phone or via skype) before the wedding date in order to finalise specific details. At the consultation, Sadie & Co will offer help in scheduling photography times, address any specific requests, and provide any extra information.

EXCLUSIVITY

It is understood that Sadie & Co Boutique Photography is the exclusive official photographer retained to perform the photographic services booked for all collections.

PHOTO DELIVERY

Sadie & Co will release images to clients via an online gallery at a scheduled post session consultation. The online gallery will contain all high-resolution files and be available online for the client to share with family and friends and upload to social media. Prints, books and albums will be discussed at your post session consultation. 

HOUSE RULES

Sadie & Co Boutique Photography specialise in natural light photography. To ensure the desired images are achieved, clients agree to arrive on time to scheduled sessions (including but not limited to; portrait sessions, engagement sessions and weddings) and stick to the agreed timeline wherever possible.
The photographer is limited by the guidelines of the ceremony officials and/or location restrictions. Clients agree to accept the technical results of their imposition on the photographer. Negotiation with the officials for moderation of guidelines is the Client’s responsibility; Sadie & Co Boutique Photography will offer technical recommendations only.

The photographs produced by Sadie & Co Boutique Photography are protected by New Zealand Copyright Law (all rights reserved) and may not be reproduced in any manner without Sadie & Co’s explicit written permission.

The high-resolution files (images) are provided to the Client for personal use, and for the purposes of the reproduction, and the giving of photographs to friends and relatives. 

The Client cannot edit or change the digital files to their liking in any way, and share their altered results.

The Client must obtain written permission from and compensate Sadie & Co prior to the use of photos in contests or any other activity that create a profit for the Client.

The Client grants Sadie & Co permission to display any images resulting from all assignments as an example of Sadie & Co.’s work, and for entrance into photographic competitions, releasing all claims to profits that may arise from the use of images. Any request from the Client for specific images to be used for exhibition must be a written request and signed by both the Client and Sadie & Co.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

In the unlikely event that one of the two photographers are injured or become too ill prior to the event to photograph, Sadie & Co will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer if it is required.

If the situation should occur that both photographers cannot attend, and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the package.
Sadie & Co takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing the photographs. However, in the unlikely event that photographs have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons within or beyond Sadie & Co’s control, Sadie & Co’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a prorated amount of the exposures lost based on the percentage of total number of originals. Should originals be lost in entirety, Sadie & Co will offer a free session to re-shoot the collection.

Even with the use of a professional photography, printing lab and/or digital files, the Client is aware that color dyes in photographs may fade or discolour over time due to the inherent qualities of dyes. The Client releases Sadie & Co from any liability for any claims whatsoever based upon fading or discolouration due to such inherent qualities.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Sadie & Co reserves the right to withhold or cancel services provided to the Client at any time or for any reason; including, but not limited to: illegal substance abuse during a client meeting or photo session, inappropriate behavior, speech, or dress. Sadie & Co has a No Tolerance Policy for illegal drugs being used or in the possession of their clients, at any time during their work together. If Sadie & Co chooses to refuse service based on any one of these reasons, the retainer fee and any other payments shall be considered liquidated damages and will not be refundable.

COMPLETION SCHEDULE

Photo processing and editing takes approximately 2-4 weeks after a wedding or portrait session date. Prints, albums, or other products are subject to the schedule of Sadie & Co’s outside labs and other vendors. Sadie & Co will do their best to complete product orders as quickly as possible.

Do you photograph in a studio or on location?

A.

Both. We are natural-light photographers and have a beautiful, comfortable studio in our home for portrait sessions or alternatively visit our clients homes to capture them in their own environment.

Q.

Do we get to meet you before our session or wedding day?

A.

Yes of course, either in person, via Skype or over the phone. Depending on what collection you choose, the number of times we meet before hand to discuss all the details varies.

Q.

Do your Portrait collections include prints or digital files?

A.

No they don't. The Creative Session fee covers your session, our talent, our time and your online viewing gallery. We have a number of great print packages available and we use only the best from Queensberry to ensure your images are beautifully presented and preserved for years to come

Do your Wedding collections include prints, canvas prints or albums?

A.

Our Wedding Collection includes all of your high resolution digital files however prints, canvas prints and albums are additional. We use only the best from Queensberry and MILK Books to ensure your images are beautifully presented and preserved for years to come

Who actually photographs our portrait session or wedding?

A.

Tania is the primary portrait and wedding photographer at Sadie & Co and Simon is the very talented second shooter for weddings. Their personal approach ensures all your moments are perfectly captured no matter which collection you choose.

Will you help with posing and styling our session?

A.

Absolutely! Whether we are capturing your wedding, newborn, pregnancy or family we will work with you to achieve a look you will love. Our style is very fresh, crisp and modern with all the importance placed on capturing your love-filled moments.

Q.

I love your photojournalist style, but I also want some more formal photographs on my wedding day. Can you accommodate that?

A.

Yes absolutely. We cover every aspect of your wedding day, and that includes a specific list of family portraits.

Do you photograph ethnic or same-sex weddings?

A.

Yes, absolutely! We believe everyone is equal, and photograph for the love of it, so if you’re marrying someone you love we are honoured to be a part of it.

Where are you based and do you travel?

A.

We are based in Auckland and definitely travel! Some travel costs may apply but we love to get around the country and the globe so get in touch today to tell us all about your big day.

BY PAYING A 50% DEPOSIT YOU (THE CLIENT) ARE CONFIRMING YOUR BOOKING WITH SADIE & CO PHOTOKOMBI, AND ACCEPTING THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE:

DEPOSIT

ACCESS, SPACE, & POWER FOR PHOTOKOMBI

It is the client’s responsibility to obtain all the required permissions from the event venue, and to arrange an appropriate space for Photokombi to be parked at your event. Photokombi requires a minimum 3.5m long x 2m wide x 2m high space. The client is responsible for ensuring a standard 240V power point is available at the venue for Photokombi.

HIRE PERIOD

Photokombi will arrive 30 minutes before the hire period is due to commence. If the client requires Photokombi earlier, an idle time charge will apply. It is up to the client to ensure that the venue agrees to Photokombi being in attendance at the agreed time. The hire period is specified by the package booked, and the start and end times agreed upon by both parties at the time of the booking. If we cannot start on time due to poor access, not being allowed access due to the venue, or other circumstances, we will keep to the agreed end period for the hire. If your event starts or runs late, the period of hire will still be for the agreed times unless we agree to provide additional hours which incur an additional cost.

Sadie & Co agrees to have Photokombi operational for a minimum of 80% of the booked period; operations may need to be interrupted for servicing of Photokombi such as paper changes. If Photokombi is out of use for more than 20% of the hire period due to technical difficulties, we shall refund the client accordingly to the amount of time that the booth is not in operation, and in proportion to the amount paid for the hours of hire.

CANCELLATION OF SERVICES

The client may cancel their booking up to 30 days before the date of the event, by sending written notice to Sadie & Co. Sadie & Co will reimburse any monies paid, less the deposit which remains non-refundable. Cancellations less than 30 days before the event date will require full payment.

EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

If an event is cancelled, or Photokombi is unable to attend due to adverse weather conditions, acts of God, or other unforeseen circumstances, the balance less the 50% deposit will be refunded to the client.

If circumstances such as severe traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns occur Sadie & Co will be happy to extend the end time of hire to make up for the late start. If this is not possible we will refund the client accordingly, to the amount of time delayed and in proportion to the amount paid for the hours of hire. We will, however, try our utmost to get to your event as soon as we can, and always be in contact with you.

SUPPLIED PRINTS & OTHER MERCHANDISE

Sadie & Co takes the utmost care while producing supplied prints and other merchandise. Our products are subject to rigorous inspections and are dispatched in perfect condition. On receiving our product(s) the client will have 7 working days to report any fault or problem due to shipping or handling to Sadie & Co. Faults or problems reported during this period of time, will be rectified by Sadie & Co free of charge. Faults reported outside 7 working days will be subject to costs.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Sadie & Co will always act in the best of interest of the client, and if required will take steps to protect the health and safety of Photokombi users. Where such actions lead to an early closure of Photokombi, removal of Photokombi or other such action likely to cause dissatisfaction, Sadie & Co limits any refunds to the amount of the original booking less the deposit. This applies in all cases. It in no way affects general public liabilities or employer’s liability insurance matters, which are covered separately.

In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstance, the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

TERMINATION OF HIRE

Sadie & Co will not tolerate any abuse or threatening behaviour to any of our staff, or abuse to the Photokombi or Photokombi equipment. If this occurs Sadie & Co retains the right to terminate the hire immediately. This applies equally to you, the Client, and your guests. Sadie & Co may terminate the hire in cases where our staff feel the equipment belonging to Sadie & Co or Photokombi itself is in danger of being damaged or has been damaged due to the actions of unruly behaviour by you or your guests. Wherever possible and reasonable to do so we will speak with you or the venue first to try to resolve the matter before any period of hire is terminated. Moreover, you, the Client, will be fully responsible for any damages, caused by you, your guests or other attendees at the event, to Photokombi or Photokombi equipment howsoever caused, with the sole exclusion of Sadie & Co.

CHILDREN

An adult must assist children wanting to use Photokombi at all times.

TRADEMARK

Sadie & Co Photokombi is a registered trademark.

FAQ

Q.

If my event is inside, can we still book Photokombi?

A.

Photokombi is 1.75m wide, so as long as we can fit through the doors, and there is permission from the venue, we can be there.

Q.

How many strips do we get?

A.

You get two strips per session, one for your guest and one for you to keep.

Q.

If one of my strips is lost at the event, can I get a reprint?

A.

Yes, all images are saved so we can reprint any one of your strips at the event.

Q.

Can we use Photokombi as a wedding car?

A.

Unfortunately Photokombi is not certified to carry passengers. But while it cannot be used to transport you and your wedding party, it can be used as a prop in your formal photographs. Fees may apply.

Q.

Do we need to provide power for Photokombi?

A.

Photokombi runs off standard 240V power, so all we need is a regular, available power point. We have our own extensions leads, as well as a backup power pack onboard, just in case.

Q.

Is Photokombi mechanically sound?

A.

Yes. She is an old girl, but she has been lovingly restored back to her former beauty from the ground up. Including the engine!

Q.

How do we secure Photokombi for our event?

A.

Simply email enquiries@sadieandco.com to check your date is available. If it is, you will be required to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure Photokombi for your event.

Q.

Can we hire Photokombi without the host?

A.

As part of the Sadie & Co service, and to ensure Photokombi runs smoothly at your event, we provide a trained host to set up, operate and pack down Photokombi with all bookings.

Q.

Do you offer a discount for mid week functions?

A.

Yes, if your event is held Monday to Thursday we do offer a discount. Contact us for more information.

Is Wedding Collective just another wedding expo?

A.

We don’t think so. Wedding Collective is a market first and foremost, meaning you won’t leave with a bag full of flyers and a sore hand from entering every competition you walked past. Your bag will be filled with treasures you’ve picked and purchased for your big day. 

Q.

Can I book Wedding Collective vendors on the day?

A.

Absolutely. Wedding Collective is a place to find inspiration and ideas but you can also book any vendors for your big day to ensure you don’t miss out!

Q.

How do we get tickets?

A.

Tickets are $15 + booking fee and can be purchased through dashtickets.co.nz or the Wedding Collective - Wedding market Facebook page. The first 100 people to purchase tickets will receive a goody bag curated by Paper & Lace (to be collected from the gate on the day of the market)

Q.

What if it rains on the day? 

A.

Wedding Collective is an indoor and outdoor event, and will go ahead rain or shine. In the event of rain on the day (May 11, 2014) there are plenty of places to shelter, should an umbrella not provide the protection you need.

Q.

Can I buy products at Wedding Collective?

A.

Yes, Wedding Collective vendors will have products available for purchase at the market, everything from DIY kits to gifts and stationary. It’s possible you could walk away from Wedding Collective with a lot of the things you need for your special day. Be sure to bring cash with you, however eftpos facilities are available.

Where do we park?

A.

Abbeville Estate has a generous carpark at its entrance, and there is also parking available on the road, which is only a short walk away.

Can we take photos of the market?

A.

Our maternity collection is all about the bump, the beautiful big bump that is your little bambino. Capturing everything that is natural about waiting for a baby and making you feel like the gorgeous mum-to-be you are we ensure your session reflects you and your bump perfectly.

Our natural light studio is designed to create a warm, loving and nurturing environment for you and your newborn. Our simple, relaxed approach ensures your images reflect all the things that make your little one so precious, with plenty of time for feeding, changing and cuddles in between.

Our Baby Collection is all about capturing the personalities of our little clients, all the laughter, the tears and the cheeky faces. Preferring to keep things simple, clean and fresh we photograph your bambino in our natural light studio with little to no accessories, making them the centre of attention!

Bump to Bambino

Bump to Bambino captures the 9 month journey to meeting your little one and is presented as one gorgeous framed print once your bambino arrives. Clients visit our studio for a 15 minute mini session every 4 weeks from 12 weeks pregnant and then within the first week of bambino being born for the final image.

Bambinos first year captures your babies journey to turning one. Clients visit the studio once a month for a 30 minute mini session and their child is captured in the same set up every time, creatiing a growth series, which is presented as a gorgeous framed print after their first birthday.

Both of our packages include unlimited, high-quality digital photos and archive quality prints (6 x 2 photo strips) meaning you and your guests can spend as much time inside Photokombi as you like. Choose between colour or black & white images depending on your preference or event.

Photobooth Service
Great service

Photokombi never leaves home without an assistant, and as part of our packages you and your guests will be looked after by business owners Tania and Simon. Our service also extends well beyond your event; with support from start to finish. We ensure your photo booth experience is as unique as Photokombi itself.

Photobooth Online
Online & Social media

Photokombi can upload all the photo strips directly to your Facebook page, meaning your guests can tag and share their strips while they’re still enjoying your party. Our packages also include a personal online gallery where all your digital images and photo strips can be downloaded and shared.

Photobooth Customisation
Customisation

All photo strips are fully customisable. Personal messages, colours and logos can be added to your strip to ensure they match perfectly with your special event. Customised Corporate packages are available should you wish to use Photokombi to promote your business, brand or an event.

Mobile Photobooth
Out & About

Photokombi lives in sunny South Auckland but loves to travel! For events outside of Auckland an hourly travel rate will be added to the package cost. If you would like to keep Photokombi for more than 4 hours, or move her around the country, just let us know.
